Touch is an ancient most natural way to communicate reassurance non-verbally. It calms relaxes and connects the body to mind and emotions, reduces aches and pains - soothing away anxiety tensions, and increasing confidence, and giving that exquisite feeling of ease and comfort.

Babies who are not touched have a higher death rate and are more prone to diseases.’

Touch re-connects us to people and our world. In our isolating modern living we forget the importance for this basic need, which is so essential to our well-being and inherent to our nature.

Touch can be nurturing comforting calming relaxing reassuring energising rejuvenating giving peace stillness and build trust. Touch is a powerful therapeutic tool. When done so with awareness and respectfully this can be deeply healing and nurturing, not only for the receiver but also to the giver.

This course is perfect for you if you

You want to learn how to touch safely and with confidence. This is how we get there: This deeply nourishing course is group centred, mostly experiential, very enjoyable and fun, you’ll be surprised how much you learn. To work with ease – so we truly enjoy, we learn how to tune into different levels of touch; to calm the person you are touching, and releasing stress on different levels. Some techniques are akin to healing, help you to get to know the energy field and the body, and how to convey calm. You will have the confidence to touch and practice on friends and family. On the weekend ‘touch’ will be given when fully clothed.

Brigette Hass is a leading practitioner in her field. She has been a body worker and healer for 17 years and has developed her own approach called Yoga Touch Therapy, this is a gentle approach that is very respectful of the client’s need. The relaxation techniques are very effective, calm the nervous system - build trust, and release old stress patterns, with deep healing results. She inspires, teaching effective ways for harmonising the whole being. Her broad knowledge base and work with energy awareness facilitates effortless learning and offers an unforgettable experience. Brigette enjoys nature, photography, writes poetry and dances Salsa and Jazz.

Brigette is a fully qualified and accredited massage practitioner and healer. She is a member of the IGPP & approved Tutor of the ATH (Assoc. for Therapeutic Healers) & the MTI (Massage Training Institute), affiliated to the BMTC, BMCA, GCMT, and CHO.
